Are you interested in becoming a BELLAS Breastfeeding Peer Counselor?

If you can answer yes to the following questions, you may ask for an application. **At this time, no applications are being accepted. 

• Have you breastfed your own baby for at least three months?

• Are you a high school graduate or equivalent?

• Do you enjoy talking to other mothers?

• Are you able to make a one year commitment to working at least five hours a week?

• Can you attend a monthly staff meeting?

Can you attend an orientation session, eight training classes, do 3 clinical observations of current peer counselors at work, and attend four La Leche League meetings?

We are NOT currently accepting applications. The next training class will be in the fall of 2010 or winter of  2111. Keep checking back here to see when applications will be open.

 

BELLAS announces orientation for potential breastfeeding peer counselors

To be considered for the classes, one of the orientation classes MUST be attended. Please plan to attend one of the following orientations at the BELLAS house: To be listed at a later date- keep checking back!

*Arrive by 9:45.
*We will be finished by noon.
*Your baby is welcome to attend with you.
